Core Class

Pre-requisite:  Know how to use a sewing machine and have the ability to sew a seam.

                     Or took Sewing Basics or Sewing 101 at Fabrics N Things.

All classes below use Burda PDF patterns or paper pattern of your choice.  
Pattern will be included in the class fee.  
Fabric will need to be purchased separately prior to class. 
If you purchase your fabric and notions at Fabrics N Things for class you will receive a 10% discount on your purchase

Core Technique Classes focus on several fundamental sewing skills using a garment pattern.

CHOOSE WHICH PATTERN YOU WANT TO MAKE AND LET ME KNOW.  Due to the unique class schedule classes are not posted on a specific day/time. When you sign up for a class you will need to contact me to schedule when you use your 6 hours!  

The patterns listed below are PDF patterns, which I will supply.  They are Misses sizes.  I have some Plus Size patterns available.

Bow Front Dress
Core technique focus:   Darts, inseam pocket, invisible zipper, combined facing.

Sleeveless Blouse

Core technique focus:   Darts, bias strips, hand stitching

Long Sleeve Blouse

Core technique focus:   Gathering, bias strips, set in sleeves

 Gathered Skirt

Core technique focus:   Gathering, bias strips, zipper

Shorts

Core technique focus:  Fly front with zipper, waistband, inseam pockets, hand stitching
